2holl.is is the complete archive of the music of 2hollis, designed and built by Miller Downey.
What is here
A timeline of 579 tracks: 107 album tracks across 13 releases, 419 songs (singles, features, SoundCloud uploads, demos and unreleased songs) and 53 snippets, placed in 8 eras from drippysoup (2018) to pirouette era (2026). Every track has its own page; the discography lists them all.
A concert archive of 171 shows in 80 cities across 26 countries, with dates, venues and fan-filmed videos where there are some: every concert.
A community layer: signed-in listeners suggest edits and request songs, which moderators review before they go live.
Dates on the timeline are placement dates: a release sits at its release date, an unreleased song where it was made, a snippet at its first preview.
How it was built
A scroll-driven 3D intro: the signature draws itself in neon lines, then a camera flight around a Nissan GT-R and into a lightspeed highway (Three.js, GSAP, Lenis, bloom post-processing).
The timeline: a WebGL grid of cover-art cards seen through a barrel-distortion shader, wrapping forever sideways, with drag, zoom, search and filters.
The player: a Web Audio engine with a two-deck DJ mode, tempo sync from beat grids, key lock through a phase-vocoder audio worklet, vocal and instrumental stems, roll pads and effects, played from the keyboard.
The concert globe: a dot globe with a heat point for every city and fan videos by angle.
The backend: Supabase (Postgres and auth) for accounts, requests, edits and moderation; Cloudflare Pages, Pages Functions, R2 and a cron Worker at the edge.
Vanilla TypeScript bundled by Vite, no framework. These pages, their share images and the sitemap are generated from the same catalogue at build time.
